Hello all! It’s been a long time since I wrote a blog post and I am feeling a bit overwhelmed thinking what I’ll be writing about after this first post. BUT, I will not think about the future right now. I’ll get there when I get there!
I started blogging November 2007. It was papercrafting mostly with a bit of personal bits. Then we moved to England and gradually I started to not feel too good about myself. This led to me creating and posting less and less. Then I stopped.
Almost a year ago I started using Instagram to help me find my mojo and it worked! In the process, I’ve met so many fabulous folks and while I may not post here every day, or every three days, I can guarantee that you’ll be able to find me on Instagram. It’s fun and quick and at the moment, it’s what I can manage.
This is probably the third or fourth go at trying to blog again. I don’t want to say this time it’s different and I feel this roaring fire inside me to write. But it kinda sorta feel like it is. I have new things I want to share but I don’t want to put any pressure on myself. I want this space to be a place where I can share a bit of myself and the not too personal stuff about our family, a place where I can document my creative journey and hopefully a little corner where I can share a bit of what I know in the area of photography, Instagram, travels and whatever else that may catch my attention later down the road. This is why I don’t want to mention anything on how regularly I will be popping in here. Right now, this blog is just a bigger space if I want to write something longer than what Instagram allows.
I am also contemplating on creating tutorials again. I have always had a passion for sharing knowledge and I want to go back into doing what I used to do before I became a stay at home mom. Software training, mostly social media and open source software, was one of my duties at the university I worked for and I want to see if I still got it.
No promise. No pressure. All just thoughts at the moment. We’ll see how and where this will go. Until the next post!!
